With the progenator star thought to be magnitude 21 or fainter, the +8 magnitude amplitude and subsequent photometry carried out by numerous observers, suggest that V466 And is a new UGWZ type CV.

V-band and CCD Clear photometry, and the two images below (60 second exposures, cropped from full sized 25'x25' frames), were obtained with the Bradford Robotic Telescope.
