BAAVSS-ALERT: The aims of the group are to alert/notify other members as to unusual behaviour taking place in Variable Stars observed by the BAAVSS and other groups or individuals. This might be, for example, someone noticing a faint minimum or bright maximum of a Mira star, or that an RCB star has started to fade or recover, or indeed that of a particular dwarf nova is in outburst! This group aims to advise like minded members about interesting variable star activity, quickly and in the easiest way.
